All GeoExchange systems (also known as "geothermal" heat pump systems) use a refrigeration compressor to transfer renewable heat energy from the earth. ECR Technologies Background Information

ECR (an acronym for Efficiency, Comfort and Reliability) has been in business since 1980 acting as a leader in the development and manufacturing of Direct GeoExchange heating and cooling system. They hold nine U.S. patents and nine international patents related to such innovation.

EarthLinked® Direct GeoExchange Systems

GEO Pride proudly offers EarthLinked® heat pump systems designed and manufactured by ECR Technologies to its residential and commercial customers. The system is mechanically simpler, has fewer moving parts, is quieter and is inherently 20-25% more efficient than water-based GeoExchange systems. It is uniquely attractive to electric utilities because it eliminates electric resistance heat strips for supplemental heating, thus allowing electric utilities to more effectively compete for space heating market share. Utilities experience increased sales for efficient electric heating, load management benefits of 30% summer-peak demand reduction and 79% winter-peak demand reduction. Consumers benefit from 35-65% greater energy savings.

EarthLinked^® Commercial Water Heating reduces the cost of heating large quantities of water by up to 75%. Flexibility and Efficiency

The system has been designed to give the customer a variety of sizes to fit many new and retrofit projects. This allows GEO Pride to match the most efficient setup to what your specific needs require. This product line also has the highest average coefficient of performance (COP) and Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) efficiency rating of any system tested by Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI). The design of the system allows it to be in direct contact with the earth’s heat source for, simply put, the ultimate in efficiency and comfort.
